As every patient is unique, it’s important to speak with your doctor about what level of exercise is appropriate for you. Make sure to bring this up during your next doctor visit.

1. Try and make exercising part of your daily routine. Set aside time in your calendar and stick to a healthy schedule.
2. Consider bringing a spouse or friend along as an exercise buddy, their motivation can help keep you on track
3. Keep a journal or log of how much your exercising so you can quantify your progress over time
4. It’s ok to take breaks! Rest as needed during exercise but avoid lying down immediately afterwards.
