It’s true: an average fried chicken breast has almost twice the sodium as an average slide of pepperoni pizza. Did you guess right?
To help reduce sodium intake, I recommend using fresh poultry, fish, pork, and meat rather than processed or canned meats, and to limit your use of prepared sauces and “instant” products.
