Getting 30 minutes of exercise a day can help you manage HF and improve your quality of life. By breaking the sessions down into 10-minute segments, you can make it even easier to fit it all in.
Some ways to get physical activity into your day include:
- Go out for a brisk walk, whether with your friends, family or pet
- Get off the bus a stop or two earlier than you usually do and walk the rest of the way
- Park your car farther from your destination and enjoy a good walk
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator if able
Make sure to talk to your doctor about any limitations there might be regarding your physical activity.
