Welcome to Together in Heart Failure

Welcome to the Together in Heart Failure community — we’re so glad you’re here.

This space is designed to foster education, collaboration, and the advancement of heart failure care by connecting patients, caregivers, and advocates in a supportive environment. We encourage you to engage with others, share your experiences, and learn from the community.

To ensure that this remains a respectful, safe, and productive space for everyone, we ask all members to follow the Together in Heart Failure Community Guidelines below. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Use and may be updated from time to time. Please refer to the “Last Updated” date to review the most recent version.

Community Guidelines

Because we operate within a regulated healthcare environment, there are important limitations on the content that can be shared here. We ask that all discussions remain constructive, respectful, and on topic. Posts or comments that do not comply with these rules may be moved, edited, or removed.

You must not post or transmit any materials that:

  • Mention or discuss specific products, brand names, or treatment options
  • Contain profane, defamatory, discriminatory, fraudulent, or otherwise inappropriate content (including images, videos, or links)
  • Are threatening, disparaging, or condone violence or illegal behavior
  • Are unrelated to heart failure care, disease management, or the purpose of this community
  • Offer medical advice or act as a substitute for professional medical consultation
  • Violate copyright or intellectual property rights
  • Are commercial or promotional in nature, including the solicitation of products, services, events, donations, clients, business opportunities, or surveys/research participation without prior written approval from AAHFN
  • Are excessively repetitive, disruptive, or considered spam
  • Contain confidential, proprietary, or personal identifying information
  • Interfere with the operation of the community or contain harmful code (e.g., viruses, malware, spyware)

No Solicitation Policy

Together in Heart Failure is a professional community focused on learning, sharing, and supporting one another. Solicitation of any kind is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Promoting or selling products, services, or events
  • Posting commercial advertisements or marketing materials
  • Soliciting donations, clients, or business opportunities
  • Requesting participation in surveys, research studies, or data collection efforts without prior written approval from AAHFN

Violations of this policy may result in the removal of posts, and repeated offenses may lead to loss of community access.

Healthcare Professionals

Healthcare practitioners are welcome to participate as individual caregivers, but may not engage as medical professionals. No medical advice should be provided to members at any time. Posts of this nature may need to be removed due to legal and safety reporting requirements.

Language and Conduct

This community is English-speaking only; posts in other languages may be removed.
Members who repeatedly violate community guidelines may be removed from the platform and lose the ability to participate in or view discussions. We will make every effort to notify members if this occurs.

Reporting Adverse Events

If you or someone you know experiences a medical side effect or reaction from a product, please contact a physician, pharmacist, or other healthcare professional immediately.
You may also report adverse events directly to the FDA by visiting www.fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch/default.htm or by calling 1-800-FDA-1088.

Thank you for being a valued part of the Together in Heart Failure community, and for helping us create a space that is respectful, informative, and focused on improving heart failure care.
